The Brahma T8 is a high-voltage ignition transformer that converts standard 230V mains supply into the dual 6500 Vrms secondary output needed to fire the electrode spark gap on gas and oil burners. Its center-grounded, symmetrical secondary winding drives the ignition electrode reliably at start-up, and the potted, sealed enclosure protects the internal windings in industrial burner and boiler installations. Rated for a 33% duty cycle (3-minute cycle) matching typical burner start sequences.
