Dungs Valve Proving System VPS 504 S02

The Dungs VPS 504 S02 is an automatic valve proving system that tests the leak-tightness of both safety shut-off valves in a gas train before burner start-up, per EN 1643. It pressurizes the pipeline section between the two valves (up to 4 litres test volume) and monitors for pressure decay over a roughly 10-second test cycle (max. 36 seconds); if either valve is leaking, the system locks out and blocks ignition (red Störung/Lockout indicator), while a successful test allows the burner sequence to proceed (yellow Betrieb/Run indicator). Rated for up to 500 mbar (50 kPa) inlet pressure and 1000 mbar (100 kPa) max body pressure, IP40 enclosure, with a 7-pole plug connection and male connector (1.5m cable, S02 variant) — differing from the S01’s integrated plug/cable design and the S04’s screw-terminal connection. Supports 230V/240V AC 50Hz supply, 4A. Commonly used as the integrated proving module within Dungs gas train assemblies. Manufactured by Dungs, Germany.
