The Honeywell Elster Quantometer QA100 80 Z I is a turbine-type gas flow meter for industrial, non-fiscal metering, sized DN80 (3") with a flow range of 10 to 160 m³/h (Qmin to Qmax). Supplied with a mounting bolt and nut kit for its wafer/flange-type pipe connection. A free-spinning turbine wheel is set in motion by the gas flow, with the number of revolutions proportional to the volume passed, read out via a mechanical roller counter in m³. Rated to a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar, it covers an operating temperature range of -10°C to +60°C, and is ATEX certified for use in hazardous areas — hazardous area rating II 2G Ex h IIC T4 Gc / II 2D Ex h IIIC T60°43°C, CE 0085. Manufactured by Elster GmbH, Uelzen, Germany (Honeywell Elster); commonly used for in-plant allocation and consumption monitoring on boilers, furnaces and heating systems running on natural gas and other non-corrosive gases.
