Instruments & Controls supplies this 90-degree Bakelite Cap Connector (Black), a right-angled ignition spark cable boot / electrode cap used to terminate the ignition cable onto the spark ignition electrode on industrial gas burners. Moulded in black bakelite (phenolic resin) with a straight cable-entry arm and a right-angled socket end, it carries an internal brass spring contact (approx. 10mm dia) that clips onto the electrode terminal stud, and a bore of approx. 3.0mm through the arm for the ignition cable core. Overall socket outer diameter 22.8mm, socket height 54.4mm, arm length 36.6mm, arm diameter 14mm. A standard ignition-circuit spare used across burner and boiler ignition assemblies wherever a 90-degree spark cable boot connection is required. Rated for Zone 2, IIA, IIB, T hazardous areas — certified to operate safely in low-risk explosive gas environments containing the specified gases, under a defined maximum surface temperature limit.
