The Vanaz R9109 series is a range of high-capacity flame arrestors with an integrated non-return valve (NRV), engineered for heavy-duty gas distribution manifolds. It stops flashback propagation and blocks reverse flow before it reaches upstream storage, protecting the gas line from explosion hazards. The body is Cast Mild Steel / Carbon Steel with a brass trim assembly and a stainless steel ribbon element pack. The series is available in four end-connection options — 1½″ or 2″ BSP threaded, and 1½″ or 2″ ANSI Class #150 flanged — see the table below. Working pressure is rated up to 17–19 Kg/cm² (bar) on LPG and Natural Gas. Manufactured by Vanaz Engineers Ltd, Pune.
